Notes

Recorded as '2 pictures (by Gyfford)' in the Small Library in the 1839 Inventory.

St Stephen's Walbrook was designed by Sir Christopher Wren in 1672 to replace one of the smaller churches destroyed in the Great Fire of London. The plain exterior of the church places focus on the elaborate interior, highlighting Wren's frequent desire to draw attention to certain aspects of his designs.

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis
