Edwin St. John (fl.1876-c.1910) "On the Coast of Spain" Signed, also inscribed with the title on the backing board verso, pencil, watercolour and gouache heightened with white, 29.5cm by 49.5cm His work shows considerable to that of the Earp family. His best work dates from the 1870/80's. He seems also to have painted under the pseudonym F. Catano and his subjects are often Italian lake views and Eastern desert scenes Provenance: With E. L.
