Her collegiate fine arts studies brought a B.F.A. from Boston University and an M.F.A. from the University of Illinois. At the latter institution, she worked closely with renown international sculptor, Frank Gallo. Emily Kaufman s art exhibits a dramatic realism and as a result, each piece belies her sincere emotional connection to it.
