Some spotting, a few early leaves disbound, folding maps with creases and repaired tears, largest folding map in slipcase with chips, separation at some folds and browning, cloth worn and with some repair, spine label chipped and browned.

FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, HOUSE EDITION. The first systematic examination of the country west of Santa Fe and the large folding map included is the first accurate depiction of the area. The House edition precedes the Senate issue and includes all of the material that was abridged in later issues.
