The canvas is lined. There is a spot of retouching to the blue pigment towards the centre and a spot of retouching in the lower right quadrant, visible under ultra-violet light. Apart from a light vertical abrasion in the blue area in the left of the composition and some very light stable craquelure, this work is in good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue illustration, although richer, more varied and overall more subtle in the original.
