Erwin J. Neusch(1892-1993) of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, folk artist and respected as one of the nation's best wood carvers, Neusch's work adorns the most beautiful churches of Philadelphia and New York. A seven-foot crucifix at Maryknoll Seminary in Ossining, N.Y., is his most prized work.
