Esme Dorothea Tinne (British, 1899-1985) Study of a Muntjac Deer watercolour 14 x 13cm Study of a Young Muntjac signed lower right "E D Tinne" pastel 24 x 18cm two (2) Esme Tinne (1899-1985) was born in Kent and studied art at St John's Wood School under Frederick Whalen, and in Amsterdam under Herbert van der Poll (Dutch, 1877-1963). She exhibited at the Society of Women Artists and at the Ackermann Gallery, and was a founder member of the Society of Wildlife Artists. She married Lt. Col. Martin Strover, RA.
