White marble figure group modeled as a standing nude couple, signed 'Evelyn Beatrice Longman 1914' to the base.
NOTE: Evelyn Beatrice Longman trained at the Art Institute of Chicago. Originally titled 'L'Amour', Longman worked on the original model for this piece for 13 years, coming back to it between other commissions. It was exhibited at the Panama-Pacific Exposition in San Francisco in 1915.
