A portrait miniature of a lady wearing an orange stole over her yellow and white dress, her hair upswept with ribbon and a strand of pearls. Watercolour on ivory, signed on the obverse D.D., gilt-metal frame with brooch pin verso, together with a further four portrait miniatures painted on ivory (English and Continental Schools, circa 1770 – 19th century), smallest circular miniature cracked. Title miniature: oval, 41mm (1 5/8in) high (5)
