Description

F. Dano Jackley, American (b. 1900) and Arthur Hoeber, American, New York (1854 - 1915), a set of three etchings, two by Jackley, the first depicting the old shot tower in Baltimore, Maryland and the second depicting Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, both dated 1931, each measuring approx. 4.75 x 3.75 inches to the plate edge; and a Arthur Hoeber woodland scene inscribed to a friend and dated 1914 and measuring 4.50 x 2.50 inches to the plate edge. All framed with gallery labels verso. CONDITION: Good, toning, one etching stained due to broken glass which has now been removed. Jackely was awell-known Baltimore artist and etcher while Hoeber was a New York painter best known for his writing on art-related subjects.
