FINK, Denman, (American, 1880-1956): Saturday Evening Post type Illustration of a boy learning saxophone at college with pet macaw, Oil/Masonite, 28'' x 22'', signed, framed, 30 1/2'' x 25''. Denman Fink was a noted WPA artist, architect, uncle to Dade County Commissioner George Merrick and directly influenced the design and construction of the famous Coral Gables Venetian Pool. Fink exhibited at the National Academy of Design, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Art Institute of Chicago among others. He has done murals throughout Florida, was an illustrator for The Barrier, Harpers, Century and Saturday Evening Post. Est. $2000/4000**
