Description

Beleuchtungskörper (Light fixtures). 1928/29. 6 vintage ferrotyped gelatin silver prints. All between 17,3 x 18,4 cm and 23,5 x 15,8 cm (all approximately 32,5 x 24,2). All mounted on board and annotated in blue ink and pencil on mount verso.
This series of images are of lamps and light fixtures designed by Wolfgang Tümpel and Karl Müller in the metal workshop of the Kunstgewerbeschule Burg Giebichenstein (where Finsler was also an instructor) between 1928-29. - Some prints with edges slightly bumped and minor surface abrasion, oxidation mirroring around edges, one image with a small tear in lower right, time-stained in edges, otherwise in good to very good condition.
