Two paintings with floral still lifes. The first piece of the pendant is signed and dated lower left: J: Fischer 1788. Oil on canvas. Relined. Ca. 40 x 30.5cm each. Carved and gilded original frame (?).

Verso:
- The back of the first, signed picture has probably been hand signed by the artist with:
"Joseph Fischer pinx: Monaschii / 2 Stück 3 G...".
- A stamp on the stretcher and one on the relining canvas: CHS94 (Christie's).
- Label on lower left mentioning the painter and the "Registered
Number 3063" and 3064.

Provenance:
- Probably auctioned at Christies, according to the stamp on the reverse side.
- 15.12.95 Auction: Audap-Solanet-Godeau-Velliet, Paris, lot 60. Acceptance 300.000 FRF.
- Has since been in private possession Rhineland.
