Five Royal Doulton stoneware Tiles, CHATHAM, MAIDSTONE BARRACKS, CANTERBURY, GREENHITHE and LYDD, 1930s, after watercolours by Donald Maxwell (1877-1936), coloured by Doris Johnson, 14 x 16.5cm and 25.3 x 23cm, two framed; together with two letters, one to Mr Mott regarding Doulton's lack of interest at his idea to transfer his watercolours on to tiles, 'what we can do when the Directors of Doultons have awakened from their deep slumber', and two books, 'Sketching in Pen and Ink' and 'Colour Sketching in Chalk', both by Donald Maxwell
