With portrait frontispiece and 92 plates (only, of 93), including 27 hand-colored plates, mostly engravings, some lithographs after drawings by the author. 4to (298 x 227 mm). Period straight-grained morocco, a.e.g. Black and white engravings foxed with some offsetting to facing text leaves, occasional toning or blemishes to hand-colored plates, bindings worn with detached covers.
