Four Continental Silver Matchsafes, a Russian niello case, Moscow, c. 1880s, maker likely Gustave Klingert, lg. 2 3/8; an ovoid French case, mid-19th century, with niello accenting, roundel of dog verso, sporting motifs recto, lg. 2; a rectangular French case, c. 1875, with stylized snakeskin ground, and Gothic Revival cut-card work trefoils, lg. 1 7/8; and a small Italian .800 bird-form, late 19th/early 20th century, ht. 1 1/4 in., approx. 4 troy oz.
