Four Framed Silhouette Portraits, America, early 19th century, hollow-cut bust-length portraits, including a one of a young woman identified on the reverse as "Grandma Rhoda Vose," by Henry Williams (Boston, 1787-1830), with ink details, embossed maker's name below, 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 (sight), in an oval eglomise mat and period oval embossed brass frame; two portraits of ladies with graphite details, 3 1/4 x 2 1/2, 3 1/2 x 2 3/8 (sight), in eglomise mats and original molded wood frames; and one of a gentleman, 3 1/4 x 2 3/8 in., (sight), in an oval eglomise mat and molded giltwood frame; (minor toning, stains, foxing on one).
