A slightly larger autograph version of the signed painting in the Statens Museum for Kunst, Copenhagen (see D. Angulo Iñiguez and A.E. Perez Sanchez, Pintura madrileña del segundo tercio del siglo XVII, Madrid 1983, p. 49, cat. no. 30, reproduced plate 45). A signed Saint Jerome by Antonio Puga in the Bowes Museum in Bernard Castle (idem, p. 262, cat. no. 21, reproduced plate 250) repeats the figure of the saint but omits the background and differs in some of the details.
