By the French artist Francoise Naudet, French 1928-2008 Naudet studied in the studio of Marcel Grimond in Paris and was professor at the school of Central Union of Decorative Arts 1959-1971, professor at Le Havre school of Fine Art and president of the French Artists Society. Among her many awards she gained an Auguste Rodin silver medal in 1970 and the Medal of Honour of the French Artists Salon in 1988. Her work appears in many public and private collection worldwide and she is now considered one of the most important female sculptors of the 20th century.
