Frank William Huline Dickens (Born 1932) Six Original 'Bristow' Cartoons. Executed in felt tip pen. All signed. Frank Dickens was cartoonist illustrator and writer. His work has appeared in many publications including the Daily Sketch, Mirror/Express and Mail and Sunday Times. He has worked on many advertising campaigns (BT, Peugeot, London Transport etc.) He has also written thrillers and childrens books. However his most famous creation is 'Bristow' the bowler hatted rebel with a toothbrush moustache who works in the office of R.L.Chester-Perry Co. Ltd. Bristow appeared in the Evening Standard from 1962. A biographical account of Frank Dickens is included in this lot.
