French Hussars on horseback. Oil on hard board, signed "Th. Fort" at the bottom left and right. In a contemporary gilded frame with rich relief ornamentation, damaged in several places, signs of age. Labels with explanatory text in French pasted on the back. Size of the painting circa 15.5 x 21.5 cm, size of the frame circa 36 x 42 cm.
