FRANZ MOORMANS [DUTCH 1831-1873], DUTCH SCHOOL, OILS ON BOARD, 2 PCS. 19TH C 4 1/2" X 3 1/2": depicts a young boy in period dress playing a violin and other depicts a seated man also in period dress, smoking a clay pipe. Both signed one lower right and other lower left. Gilt wood and gesso frames [one damaged] with red velvet matting. Plate inscribed F. Moormans on bottom of each frame; one having type written information on the artist on verso.
