Condition Report

Overall with craquelure. Faint stretcher bar marks are visible along the perimeter. Some scattered points of minor surface pigment loss. A drip of surface soiling on the book at right. Two small patch repairs to the canvas on the verso at center, another small patch in the u.l. corner with a 2 x 6-inch patch repair at u.c. A milky-green varnish is visible under UV examination with scattered minor areas of restoration overall and a larger area of restoration corresponding to the patch at u.c.
