Notes

The English sculptor F. J. Williamson trained with John Bell and J. H. Foley. From 1853 to 1897, he exhibited eighty-one works, mainly plasters and marbles of royal and aristocratic children, at the Royal Academy, London. In 1890, he was appointed Sculptor-in-Ordinary to Queen Victoria, and several of his works remain in the British Royal Collection.
