Executed in 2006, this work is number 35 from an edition of 50.

The three bowing figures that group together to form the present work, Standard Times, make a satirical comment on the collectivity and false behaviour expected in modern Chinese society. Their aligned bowing gestures, simperingly benign smiles, full of false modesty and acquiescence, provide an exaggerated but humorous observation of contemporary behaviour.
