Notes

One of the rare talents to emerge from the burst of artistic activity in Vancouver in the late 1960s was Gathie Falk, whose initial work in ceramics was fostered by Glenn Lewis. She went on to have exhibitions in public and private galleries across Canada and abroad, and her work has been acquired by all the major public institutions in Canada as well as many private and corporate collections.

Falk's Twenty Rotten Apples is a quintessential example of her remarkable work and historically one of her most important.
