CATALOGUE NOTE

Gédéon Forceville-Duvette exhibited at the Salon from 1845 to 1880 and produced many sculptures, mainly in marble. He sculpted busts, statues and monuments and some of his smaller works were reproduced in Sèvres porcelain.
