George Cockram,RI, RCA (1861-1950), 'Glyder Fawr, North Wales', watercolour, signed, 35in x 23.5in Cockram was born in Liverpool and worked extensively in North Wales. He was particularly inspired by the mountain scenery of Snowdonia but also painted many atmospheric coastal scenes in Anglesey where he had a studio. His watercolour 'Solitude' exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1892 is now in the Tate Gallery Collections.
