Windmill and figures at Stoke
inscribed to a label verso: 'Bought at the sale of the late Mr Trent's effects, whose father was companion to Mr Frost August 15th 1901, at the lecture hall Ipswich, Garrod & Turner, Ipswich', also inscribed in pencil: 'The mill was last occupied by a miller named Goodchild and was pulled down about 1880, it stood on Stoke Hill Ipswich near by the railway tunnel', pen and ink and wash, 30 x 40cm (11 13/16 x 15 3/4in).
