Note: These paintings are sold with their additional original frames, both bearing framer's labels for Charles Nicholls & Son, 18 Market PLace and 2 Bull's Head Yard, Manchester. The artist is recorded as exhibiting seven works at the RA between 1856-1875, which included views of Rio de Janeiro, Argentina. These views may be from South America or from the Far East.
