Notes

This painting is sold with an accompanying Waringarri Arts certificate that reads: 'This painting is of Stoney Creek (Thoowoo-thoowooliny) and the hills (Goowale-waliny). It is just to the south of Frog Hollow and is part of George's own estate (Jarlarloon) within the Kija country. Jarlarloon means "the place of the shitwood tree (Gyrocarpus Americana)" and this tree is very common in this area'.
