Georges Colin, French, 1876-1917, a large and impressive bronze sculpture of a young Gaulish warrier, dressed in armour carrying a shield, a classically draped woman standing beside him on a step, her hands on his shoulder and shield, he modelled standing on a plinth moulded with geometrical patterns, the plinth signed colin georges , inscribed with the motto, Pour le Droit, Pour la Justice Pour la Liberte, foundry marks and stamped numbers to back of base, 89cm high
