*Girolamo Genga (circa 1476-1551) MADONNA AND CHILD WITH THE INFANT SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST oil on panel 23 1/2 by 19 1/4 in. 59.7 by 48.9cm. We are grateful to Everett Fahy who, based on first hand inspection, has identified the present painting to be by Genga. An old label on the reverse of the panel attributes the painting to Raphael.
