Lot 10: Giulio Bonasone ( circa 1510- circa 1576)

The Resurrection (B., Archer 45; Massari 130) engraving and etching, 1561, a proof before the completion of the engraved lines radiating from the standing Christ, watermark Crown below a Star (cf. Briquet 4835; Italy, second part of the 16th Century), with margins, a central horizontal fold, a repaired diagonal tear from the left sheet edge to the center of the raised platform with associated crease, two soft vertical creases, several minor repairs in the margins, laid to a support at the reverse of the left sheet edge, framed P. 288 x 178mm., S. 305 x 194mm.
