Framed. Exhibited: "Two American Masters: William Chase and Robert Henri", Grand Central Art Galleries, Inc., New York, October 25 through November 30, 1985. Provenance: The estates of David and Eula Wintermann. Accompanied by the original bill of sale from Grand Central Art Galleries Inc., New York, dated November 7, 1985. Gladys Wiles was the daughter of painter Irving Ramsey Wiles (1861-1948) and the granddaughter of Hudson River School painter Lemuel Maynard Wiles (1826-1905).
