coat with gold buttons, gold figured red waistcoat, white stock and lace cravat, his hair worn en queue; she, wearing décolleté blue and white dress with looped trim and strand of pearls on her arm, double-strand pearl choker tied with blue ribbons and pearls in her upswept plaited hair both signed on the obverse and dated Hamn/ 176*, gold frames with gold mounted blue glass borders, the reverses glazed to reveal seed-pearl monograms MAB and AB respectively on plaited hair ovals, 33mm. (1 1/4in.) and 38mm. (1 1/2in.) respectively (2).
