H. MURRAY, WATERCOLOR ON BOARD, 19TH C., 12" X 18", 'HOUNDS MOVING OFF': Beautifully done watercolor depicts British hunters within an autumn countryside. The four hunters includes three men, shown in red jackets, and one woman who is in a blue jacket and is riding side saddle. The hunters pause and talk with a woman who is standing on a small bridge, while the pack of hounds traipse through a stream. Signed "H. Murray" lower left, under glass, framed; heightened with gouache; penciled title and numeral notation on the reverse. Henry Murray, British, act. 1850-60.
