Description

Various industrial images: "Das Zinnbad"; "Kokereiarbeiter"; "Eisenrohlinge". 1951-57. 3 vintage ferrotyped gelatin silver prints, 2 on Agfa-Portriga-Rapid paper. Each appoximately 22 x 17,2 cm. Each with photographer's stamps, 2 with copyright stamps, titled, dated and annotated in an unknown hand in pencil on the verso.
One image with slightly bumped corners, all with slightly scuffed surfaces, two with minimal handling marks, otherwise rich tonal prints in very good to excellent condition.
Provenance: Lempertz Auction 808, Cologne, Germany, September 15, 2001. Lots 217, 219 and 224.
