Hanging Scroll, Japan, ink and paper on silk brocade mounting, attributed to Kano Eitoku (1543-1590), depicting in hakuboku a sansui landscape with a figure in a boat in the far left of the composition, on the bottom left is the seal of "Kano Eitoku," the reverse carries a lengthy authentication slip dated Tensho, eighth year, 1581, 43 1/2 x 21 7/8 in.
