Description

HAROLD SHELTON (AMERICAN, 1918-1999) "Defender of the Dakota," Native American Bronze Statue. This piece is an ORIGINAL Masterpiece Limited edition number 10/76. This is an exquisite piece that belongs in a museum, comes with original certificate of authenticity showing value of 22,000 dollars. Measuring 32 inches tall weight is approx 100 pounds. "Defender of the Dakota," a Harold Shelton sculpture showing a Native American man Defending the land he lives on. Harold Shelton sculpted all of his original works of art in hard dental wax, not clay, only 1% of the artist today use this medium to create their original works of art. Wax is much harder to work in, but allows the artist to get much sharper detail. All Harold Shelton fine art bronze sculptures are cast in the lost wax process.
