Inverted L-shaped abrasion measuring 3 inches across and 6 inches down located c.r. Scattered abrasions to l.r. corner to right of signature. Abrasion with small area of retouch located just above the right knee of the figure ascending the stairs. Small paint loss u.l. corner. Surface irregularities u.c., visible in raking light, that read almost like patches but are probably pentimento of an undersketch. Surface accretion to u.r. edge. Subtle rippling.
