Notes

By 1818, the date of the present lot, Grevedon had returned to Paris after his stay in Stockholm and London. Upon his return, he concentrated mainly on lithographs and gained some notoriety from these. He also painted a number of miniatures during this period, exhibiting at the Salon from 1824.
