Notes

In her recent monograph on Regnault, Laurie Dahlberg notes: 'Regnault made most of his landscapes around farms and open country, but he also made some pictures in the imperial Parc de Saint Cloud...[here] Regnault could count on three things he most often sought in landscapes: the open view to the horizon (which allowed him to exploit atmospheric perspective), the plunging recession of space, and great wedges of sky.' (Victor Regnault and the Advance of Photography, Princeton, 2005, pp.156-58)

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
