Condition Report

The painting has been lined onto linen. The signature is very faint, and is located in the lower right about 1 inch below the corner of the shelf and 1/12 inches up from the bottom edge of the canvas, starting about 5 inches in from the right edge.

Retouch as follows: broad washes of retouch to the background on upper left side; four or five spots of retouch to the u.r., the largest measuring 1 inch in diameter; scattered small dots to the l.l. corner; a spot measuring 1/2 x 1/4 inch located in the grapes at the left; a vertical line of retouch measuring 1-3/4 inches located beneath the open peach; a dot measuring 1/4 in. located above the open peach.
