Condition Report

Dirty varnish. Frame rubbing. Partially visible stretcher marks. Small repaired puncture at center right (in background) with patch on reverse and corresponding small area of inpainting. Appears to be dated 18... beneath the signature. Another small area of damage with old repair (patch and inpainting) at the top left center just above the dog''s ear. The painting goes black under UV light. Unable to detect further restoration. Appears to have been cleaned, thinned in areas of the background.
