Condition Report

In good condition.

The work is on paper stretched over a canvas strainer with a wood panel backing. It appears that this backing is right next to the canvas support as there is no give to the work. It is quite stiff. It is possible that the artist stretched the paper to the canvas support himself. The work is painted right up to the edge of the face of the support with very little pigment on the overlap. The materials all appear to be of the same age.
