A pair of portraits of a Lady and Gentleman; he, wearing white coat with purple lapels, purple waistcoat with gold frogging, lace cravat and powdered wig worn en queue with a black ribbon bow; she, wearing rose-pink gown with yellow border and red and gold sash over white chemise, her light brown hair upswept. Enamels, the former signed on the obverse and dated H.S/ 1769 ; the latter signed on the obverse and dated H.S/ 1768 , silver-gilt frames.
