Notes

The patrons, shown kneeling in the bottom corners of the composition, are Hans Peter von Fulach and his third wife, Elsbeth von Ulm. Von Fulach, son of Ulrich von Fulach and Beatrix von Waldkirch, was Lord of Flaach. According to the inscription on the present drawing, he had died by 1576, when his widow commissioned this design. An earlier member of his family, Eberhard von Fulach, was the patron for another window commemorating his marriage with Anna Muntprat designed in 1521 by Felix Lindtmayer the Elder (fig. 1).υ1 1.
