A patinated bronze sculpture, 'Le Sacre du Printemps' or 'Het jonge leven' (young life), molded at "De Plastiek", Bloemendaal, 1920, signed in the mold: Hildo Krop, and with foundry mark: Brons Beeldgieterij "De Plastiek" Bloemendaal. Lit: E.J. Lagerweij-Polak, Hildo Krop, Den Haag, 1992, p. 124, No. V38, described as 'staande op kop van een uil' (standing on an owl's head) although one can see it is a base shaped as a human face, and described as: 'Ontworpen voor firma H.J. Winkelman en Van der Bijl' (designed for the -metal- firm of H.J. Winkelman en Van der Bijl), which should be "De Plastiek". Patine worn.
