He sits in red upholstered chair, arm and hand resting on arm. He holds a folded letter which the artist has signed "Cha's Cole 71 High St Topham 1845". On back of stretcher is name of sitter. SIZE: 30" h x 25" w. CONDITION: Old restoration, otherwise good. 9-91698.
